I'm a computer science student in perth who's in my final semester of my bachelors degree. I came to perth for two years of studies since I got one year exempted of my 3 year degree, and will be completing my 2 years in this coming june 2008.
When I came to Australia(in august 2006) full time studies meant at least 3 units per semester. but I heard it has to be 4 units per semester under the new rules. In the end of my 2 years of studies I will be completing 12 units. Not 16 units. Therefore I wanna know whether I'm still eligible of applying for the PR or the TR under the new rules. I took the IELTS exam recently and I have a overall score of 7+ If I'm not fulfilling the requirements with above details, will I be able to apply for the TR or PR if I have a relative sponsor? |
