Default Should I make it recheck?

Hello friends! My name's Ryan and I just got my IS Academic result today.
Listening 7
Reading 8.5
Writing 6
Speaking 6
I'm not satisfied with my writing and speaking tasks as I must get at least 7 in all skills. I made good essay and graph. Speaking was fine, in my opinion.
Do you guys suggest me to recheck it again? How much money do I have to pay for it? Where can I make this thing ? Is it worth?
Please help me........

I took IELTS Academic 3 consecutive times already.
1st attempt:
S:7
L:7.5
R:7
W:6.5

2nd attempt:
S:7
L:8
R:8
W:6.5

3rd attempt:
S:7
L:8
R:7
W:6.5

**I need 7 in writing so for the 3rd try it is still 6.5 so i opt for a remark.. yesterday. Hope it will be 7 by then.. wish me luck guys. my funds are already used up because of this IELTS exam.

You need to read academic articles as much as possible. After reading all these articles you will be able to describe tables, graphs, charts etc fluently with no any thinking. Also, try to make critical analysis of any statement, it's what all the articles actually about! Writing is more intuitive than "know-how-to-write". Good luck!

guys what do you think about my chances of increasing my writing band score from 6.5 to 7 after my remark? i really hope they give it to me because we are only talking about 0.5 difference and a huge fee for retaking the whole thing. im hoping for the best for i only need 7.0 to move on. ill post the outcome of my remark after 6-8 weeks.

Ryansoe,

Did you apply for a remark after all? I have just got similar result as yours:
L: 8.5
R: 7.5
W: 6.5
S: 6.5
And dont know whether I should ask for a recheck either?

About the fee: I think here in Australia you have to pay 140 up for remark. And you can get the application in your test center.

I am personally more inclined to the idea of rechecking since as Pete said the examiner rechecking each section wont know about our scores in the others, so there will be hopefully no chance that they will increase the mark in one, say, W, then keep the S unchanged to make up for the round up part in W in case we are in the middle of 6.5 and 7.

Hopefully it wont be too late to be useful for you!

Finger cross!!!!!

IELTS is a money making business!!!! Because of its inconsistency across the board, sometimes I wonder if it is a money making business or not. Opps, change of mind, I DON'T wonder, I know it is!!! Sorry guys but this IELTS system is a load of big time crap and I hate to see what they are doing to you all. Good luck, hope you will get all your 7s and above
